my candy pet won't open when I click on open under fun events

The Candy Pet hasn't been available in almost 2 years. It was replaced by other challenges and features.
If you have any issues in your game, please feel free to post a new thread since this thread is about an issue in 2018.

Unable to purchase
Anyone else have an issue with the booster wheel not letting you spin? Mine says come back in xxx hours for the next spin, but the next spin never comes. I am so stuck on level 7280 and I need some booster help!!
