What do you mean when you say they didn't work @adeleis_1? They didn't appear inside the level?

I used the hand booster in the level and it didn't switch the candies.

Thank you for replying. So when you click on the switch and then click on a candy it just doesn't do anything? This is so strange. I haven't heard about this situation before. Just out of curiosity which two candies do you want to switch?
Sometimes the game gets temporarily hung up and a few simple steps can help you out.
Clear your cache. The way to do this is slightly different depending on the platform and software you are using, but you should be able to use the internet to find out how to do that if in doubt.
Check your app update - App developers are giving their best to deliver a great experience to the users, which is why they are constantly working on improvements. If users complain about the issue, including freezing and crashing, developers will fix it with an update. That is why it is essential to regularly update all your apps or at least the ones you use daily.
Finally, shutdown the platform you are playing on for at least 20-30 seconds. Usually by doing these simple steps you can clear up a temporary problem you may be experiencing.

I finally passed it but I lost my boosters and some gold :( I was on level 1136 when it happened and tried switching a colour bomb with another candy.

Welcome to the King Community.
Unfortunately with the hand booster you will not be able to explode between a candy and the color bomb. The hand booster will only replace the location between two items.

@Sukanta_Biswas Should that be known to players then before they attempt to use the hand booster? I wasted multiple of them thinking I switched the wrong candies.
Put a warning on the saying that the colour bomb won't explode with the hand booster before it switches the candies. I'm sure this has happened to many others as well. Not fun.
