I read the other posts. This is extremely annoying to me because my friends and I play the same way using skill and luck. We do not spend real money buying boosters. The number of levels and the speed in which they are accomplished tells me that my new “friends” may not play that way. Also the chocolate box says”unable to connect with server” and has for over a week. That is how I received most of my boosters and it is just another aggravating change. Please fix these issues.

Please check if you have a 100% internet or wifi connection. Look for the update and clear the cache and if you are playing via an app on the mobile device, open it again and play a level and the game will update itself. Maybe you can get the boosters later.

I also am finding it extremely frustrating to have people that aren’t my friends on my weekly contest. I keep getting profiles that pass over 500 levels a week - which I play candy crush multiple times every day and don’t pass anywhere near this especially being over 2600 levels into the game. Currently in the week’s contest all the profiles I’m playing against aren’t my friends. I find this extremely disappointing as I play a lot and work really hard each week to try and get the winning spot and boosters for it.
Totally agree and it didn’t used to be that way. My friends were my Facebook friends and we play the same. We use luck, skill and earned boosters. Now they are gone replaced by people whose win levels defy logic. I don’t know how to get my friends back and lose the strangers.
