What happened to the ads for boosters? Having trouble with harder levels without them.

This is my understanding of the video ads
The videos on the mobile devices are a test program from King. Random groups are selected for this. No one has an influence on this selection, except King. However, these groups are temporarily added or changed. You may also be able to enjoy the videos. But you cannot predict it. So they may come and go

The video ad feature as all ads and promotional features is still a test feature in the game, which means that some of you can get Lives, while others can get Booster or other items from this feature.
This also means that the video ads will not always be available and not found in all player's games or on all devices.
So if you at the moment are missing the ads in your game, just stay tuned and keep an eye in the game to see when it's back.

Who can say for sure @MaryAnn62 I used to get boosters from watching adverts, and lives. I have lost all of my advert features now except for Sweet Cinema. Thing is even though my Sweet Cinema has been updated it still doesn't work.
The fact that you and I struggle with some of the harder levels without the boosters provided by the advert features might explain why they have been removed. That is, King may have decided that the extra boosters made the game too easy and also gives less incentive for people to buy boosters.

As soon as I paid for boosters all ads were taken away …on all 3 of my candy crush games . The fun has also been taken away for me! I find it interesting that as soon as I did make a purchase that now the only way I can get bonus boosters is to purchase more but I won’t do this on principal.
