I’ve been playing forever and never had this happen. When I used up my lives, I always “ask friends” for help, but now it says I don’t have any but I can add them. I don’t use social media. What happened?

Same issue here, all friends disappeared.

I wish I could post a screenshot, but before I thought to ask here, I tried adding a bunch of people and just now I blew through two lives to get the screenshot but I don’t get the message now as I had people accept my requests. Thing is, I don’t have the friends I had before. Oh well.
