Getting to level 51?

So if I don't pay for gold bars I'm stuck at level 50? If that's the case I guess I have to delete the app though I really enjoy playing.
I wish they would have said something in the beginning as many gold bars were wasted buying 5 additional moves...mostly aaccidentally.

You can pass level 50 without Gold Bars for sure.
Make striped candies to clear through the lane with the most liquorice locks, allowing the flow of candies to be uninterrupted.Clear the middle spots when given the chance as it is the more difficult part of the level, using colour bombs or other special candies.The level itself is not too difficult, but requires strategy.
