@Havish I don't use Facebook either and I have just received this 'new' feature in my game that I play on an android tablet.
Back in March of 2021 this discussion was originally only for Facebook users, but it now appears that after the dismal failure that it was King has decided to roll it out to more people. I really hope this means that all the issues have been fixed for those people on Facebook.

I agree with you on one thing @Deryck about- wanting the leaderboard back.
My thing is I'm not down with sending my personal info to strangers...
Since the CM gave a very vague response about this feature way back then & hasn't updated anyone lately...I'm confused how this works & I'm not going to ''test" this feature out until I have more info.
@Deryck, I see that you sent invites to ppl. Did you have to share your email address in order to request friends? If that's that's the case then I'm out.... that's my deal breaker.
I have a screenshot of myself attempting to add friends but it is so shady (for me at least).
๐ I'm not sure about that... So I refuse to go through with the process.

@gr33n3y3z No sharing of email addresses at all. I actually think King did something beneficial for players for a change (and for this reason I give this new feature a month or so before it suddenly vanishes ๐).

I was going about the process the wrong way. There is an option to set up an email address & share, but your way is the way to go.
We'll see how this feature turns out. It's a crazy feature you can send as many lives as you want (seems too good to be true).

Yup, this feature will backfire on King. Imagine if a player is able to actually have 100 active friends. That's potentially 100 lives being sent every day. No one would need to buy hearts again. ๐

@Crazy Cat Lad Sucks that invites are limited to just 300. This is what happens when trying to send more:

Do not like this new feature. Friends I have on my list do not send lives. Strangers I do not know, ask and send lives all the time. Bad idea. Do not recommend.
