Using iPad receive the following - taking too long to connect to Facebook

Will not connect to Candy Crush from Facebook using iPad. Keep receiving taking too long to connect to face book. Been going on now for two weeks. I have removed Facebook, Candy Crush & reinstalled. Still not working on iPad. This is the only way I can play the game. Please fix it or let me know what I need to do

I was having the same problem. I uninstalled the FB app and connected through FB on Safari. It worked.

I am having the same problem. Must be internal with the app or Facebook. Any solution yet?

I have the same issue. Switching to 3G/4G is a ridiculous answer. We have been playing fine on our wifi and now it does not work. iPad is current, no updated needed. Deleted CC and re-downloaded, it did not help.

Also I suggest you try switching from WiFi to 3G/4G (if you have that option) to see if that will solve your connectivity issue.
