anyone who has passed this level have any suggestions as to which pair to go for first? Should you do the strip/strip first? HELP
Yeah - I'm not using all my hammers and hands just to finish (or start!) this level. Particularly as yes - it freezes quite often. And it does have strange moments when candies drop out of the middle bit in areas that aren't supposed to have candies. You know what was strange though - and I often feel like I have this experience with Candy Crush. The VERY FIRST time I did it - I got closer than I ever got. I think I had one strip combo left to get. And because I got that far - I just assumed I could keep trying and I would get there. But then it just became impossible? Does anyone else ever have that experience? Where either the very first time you play is much easier than other times or even the first time of the day is easier?
Well, new levels came out and this one has not been fixed. What gives?
Another 2 1/2 hours wasted today. What a terrible level. Pity I can't write what i think of the king team!!!!
rubbish level, not fun and worst of all kept freezing on me - found Cake Story and am playing that instead.
well I tried and tried and now am done for awhile. I will check back and see if they have reduced the number of striped and striped you have to get. I think it should go down to 5. would not matter spending monies if I am down to just one or 2 combos but not 5-8. I will just play now for boosters
I actually got it down to 2 combos (2 balls into the stripes), but that was virtually a miracle. Getting all of them is impossible without boosters. The strategy is definitely to do the stripes into stripes first, trying to dodge setting off the balls via using the licorice blockers. I still wont bother until they correct it.
Same as all guys at this level, my best is 5 combos left....

I think this is the level where I finally give up CC. I've tried every which way possible and have spent at least £20 on boosters, extra moves, lives etc and still cannot get anywhere near. Also having the same problem with the game constantly glitching, unless this level is fixed and I can move on without spending more money then I wont be playing anymore .
This level is impossible to complete without using boosters, even then you would still require a lot of luck. Unless King do something they are going to lose a lot of good players.
Game starts with 40 moves but 12 moves are wasted making the required matches, this only leaves 28 moves to create and line up the required boosters IMPOSSIBLE without lots of luck.
What is needed is mystery candies to fall throughout the game.
The All Help blog suggests going after the striped/striped first since these do less damage, then looking for a striped/color bomb where there are few of the striped color on the board. I think this is good advice. I passed this level by using a ton of boosters, mostly switch hands (I had over 100 from sugar drops and wheel), but before setting off striped/color bomb combos I used hammers to remove any of the striped color that could hit another color bomb. The level is quite buggy, so you do run the risk of using up boosters only to have it freeze on you near the end.There's at least one video of passing it without boosters, so it can be done. I fought my way through levels like 410 and 425 without boosters when they were much harder to come by, but these days I lack the patience. (Would people please stop kvetching about King's alleged attempts to make money by making levels too hard? It's a for-profit company, in business to make money. How it chooses to try to do that is its business decision. I'd bet that it's not in King's best interest to make levels too hard, because for every player who buys moves or boosters there are three who get frustrated and quit entirely. I don't work there and know no one who does, but that's my guess.)

I just passed! Took lots of hammers and switches plus extra moves. Glad I stored up lots of sugar drop prizes and gold bars so it didn't cost me any real money. I went for the stripe-stripe combo first and tried to save color balls until the end. Be careful stripe-stripe combos don't hit anything that can cause more destruction. I tried to line up the stripe-stripe blast along the walls of the square box in the center whenever possible.
Pick color-stripe combos that will minimize destruction to save other color bombs.
Good Luck. Took me 4 day but it is possible. I finished rest of the games in the episode in one day. This game is buggy and locks up sometimes.
hey king! come on king! make levels that are manageable to pass. it's IMPOSSIBLE to make that amount of color bombs + striped and add the striped + striped. those combos take a lot of moves and with that board shape with conveyor it's so tough to make those orders. there's also the bombs that may explode if not defused in time. make modifications and NERF this level please! king for the sake of us players. make a TRUE level, not a ridiculously insane one!!! For the sake of the many CCS lovers make this level possible to accomplish, I plead for a fix on this level.
DO SOMETHING WITH THIS! This level is even WORSE than 677, 735, and 829. The bugs encountered add to the mess, act now PLEASE!!!!
so king can't even be bothered to fix the bugs(screen freeze) in this level because it's impossible to pass even if it worked properly. it's just a gate that can't be passed because they haven't made more episodes yet(no episodes to complete, no money for them) but after 1180 levels you'd think they would want to hold on to those customers. talk about shooting yourself in the foot!
I just had a chat with a king rep who says they are working on a fix for this level. I would avoid playing until they fix it.
I used 7 Hand Switchers & 1 lollipop to beat level 1180, I only had 3 Colored Bomb + Stripe to get so i started Switching lol. took me forever to get that far though. Good Luck everyone! I agree Mystery Candies should keep coming down and open up the board more.

We have noticed that there are a lot of comments and questions regarding level 1180.
The difficulty of this level was brought to our attention recently. The Candy Crush Studio team have now confirmed that based on data from hundreds of thousands of players the level is passable and therefore it will not be changed.
We understand that this level is frustrating but as you know the game is a mix of luck and skill and with a little perseverance and a little luck you will get there.
There are several youtube players who have passed this level so I will post their videos below in the hope that they will help you to pick up some tips & tricks.

It is also known that for some players this level is freezing when playing on Facebook, this is being looked into right now and as soon as we get an update we will add a comment to this thread.
So it seems now they aren't changing it. The other levels that demanded changes for being too difficult were all levels I passed before the changes. This level I'm still stuck on.... So a few people got lucky and passed it, that makes it different than the other levels that have been changed for difficulty? Whatever king.....
Game still sticking. Always seems to happen when I'm doing well on this level. Sick of this now. Not only is it an impossible level to complete, I'm losing lives half way through playing.
What is the paint brush booster being used in the youtube video of someone completing the level?
It seems to change a candy to a stripe candy but I dont know how to get one.
I'm happy to spend some money playing games but this is beyond ridiculous.
KING: Fix that bug!!! Level 1180 "freezes" all the time. And while you're at it: adjust level 1180 so that it becomes just a bit easier. It really, really is much too hard!

This is in response to the "Hello Candy Crushers" post from Johnny Ryall. There are two videos posted.
What Johnny does not tell you is that both of those players used boosters to complete the level. The first one used gold bars. The second one used a hand.
Johnny also does not tell you that you probably have a better chance winning a ten thousand dollar or more Powerball jackpot than completing Level 1180 without using a booster.
I want to be as respectful as possible here but I feel that Johnny's message ignores how difficult this level is to pass. To me this is hurtful to the most devoted and skillful players of Candy Crush who have loved the game and know better. My feeling is that many, if not most, will be forced to leave the game in droves unless this level is nerfed, perferably as soon as possible.
Apart from the difficulty (nearly impossible without using boosters) the candy order is flawed. The 12 single stripe requirement is redundant. Think about it. Why is it there? To make people think that they accomplished something? A trained chimpanzee can fulfill the 12 single stripe requirement. It is impossible NOT to fulfill that requirement if you fulfill the other two requirements.
If what Johnny says is true about not changing the level, then I truly hope that King will re-consider. King has nerfed much easier levels than this one. Does King really want to drive many of their most faithful players away for good?
My suggestions for a nerf are two-fold. Either or both can be used. (1) My preferred suggestion is to allow NEW mystery candies to spawn after the initial ones have left the board. This would give players a fighting chance. (2) My other suggestion is to make it a four-color game: that way there would be more opportunities to make bombs and stripes after the mystery candies are gone.
I have played this game and loved this game for so long (it seems like 20 years, though it has not been out that long!) and feel terrible that it has come to this. In my view, King would be applauded and yes forgiven if they nerf this level as soon as possible.
Possibly Johnny is not that familiar with the level. Maybe he personally has never played it. I truly believe that if he has played the level he would realize why it is NEAR IMPOSSIBLE TO DO without boosters. The best approach (most agree) is to try to get as many stripe-stripes done before detonating bomb-stripes. But the problem is that getting the stripe-stripes wipes out a lot of the mystery candies, and once they are gone, they are gone for good and are never replenished. Meanwhile most of the bomb opportunities are also gone.
If NEW mystery candies could re-spawn, this level would still be very challenging but it would also be fair.
I am not angry but I am extremely disappointed, more so if what Johnny says is carved in stone. I HOPE THAT IS NOT THE CASE. In the past there have been messages from King indicating that a level would not be changed and then, lo and behold, it was changed.
I've enjoyed Candy Crush more than any other computer game that I have ever played.
Please, King, if what Johnny said is true, then PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE reconsider your decision to not change the level.
Please do the right thing and make hundreds of thousands of people HAPPY!

Level 10054 is impossible to pass because the 4th required Dragon does not drop, I have used many booster and bombs and still have not cracked this level because the fourth and last required doesn't appear.

I got the booster wheel spin jackpot today, and it looks like it's supposed to include everything that shows on the wheel. However, there was no 15 min unlimited UFO blaster (it showed it in the graphic showing you won the jackpot, but it was not in my boosters). Is this a known issue or just a one off glitch?
