Suddenly over the weekend, it got a lot harder to collect sugar drops. What happened?

I haven't noticed any changes. Could it be that you are at a more difficult level? Sugar Drops only happens when you do a combo of more than 3 matching candies.

Anyone else have an issue with the booster wheel not letting you spin? Mine says come back in xxx hours for the next spin, but the next spin never comes. I am so stuck on level 7280 and I need some booster help!!
