weekly challenge

Question

I get the trophy appear with the weekly challenge to collect certain coloured candies etc but a friend who has the same phone and tablet both apple is not getting these challenges. She has tried everything other than reinstalling the app and i dont blame her not wanting to do that as we are both within the last few worlds and wont risk losing progress. Is there any settings we may have missed that would stop her getting these challenges

Unfortunately there is no setting or a way to change this, I've been in touch with CS before about similar events and they told me people are randomly picked for these and that it was not rolled out to everyone as it was a test feature. That was sugar tracks and it did become fully implemented in the end and rolled out to all players.

Since the weekend events are still fairly new, my best guess is that they have not become fully implemented features. Hence why a lot of people don't see or get them, time will tell for sure!
