Candy Crush Saga no longer compatible with my tablet (Acer Iconia One 7)

I had Candy Crush Saga installed on my Acer Iconia One 7 with Android 4.2.2. and it worked fine. I had to send it to the manufacturer because some battery issues. I got it back today, and suddenly I cannot install Candy Crush Saga. It says my device is not compatible.

I've read about this workaround which is pretty simple to follow so certainly worth a shot, some have said it's worked, some not.
Go to the Google Play -> Apps menu -> My Apps menu item. You'll see two headers, "Installed" and "all". Go to all and find CCS in the list (it shows all apps that are and have ever been installed through your account). When you find CCS, don't tap on it but hold it down, you'll see "Install" pop up, just tap on and cross your fingers! Let me know how it goes!
