For some reason, us Facebook players that play in a web browser cannot hear this new music. It's just silent during a level.
@Crazy Cat Lad Is there any chance you can reach out to the dev team and find out why certain platforms do not have custom music playing? I know I have reported this type of issue in the past several times before and no fix was ever done for it. I know Space Jam event had custom music in the past that made FB version go mute.

What you have to do is, play on mobile.

I confirm, I play with both devices connected to Facebook. If I play from the phone app, I hear the new melody, but if I play through the web browser, it cannot be heard

Sorry but I do not have any devices to do so, so I can only play on Facebook with a web browser.
It just seems weird that the music can only be heard on certain platforms while others is just silence.

Mixing the first and new sound
In my opinion the first music is nicer and calmer than a point of view no more

I play with the sound off, so I have no idea what it sounds like. I take a listern the next time im on the game.

Most probably music for new seasons can only be played on mobile devices like smartphones and tablets.
I also experience this issue when I'm playing through my laptop. No music.

0:20 Sounds like King tried to pay homage to the level that started it all--Green Hill Zone. Bizarre hearing StH at this slooow tempo.

The song's only on the phone and tablet, not computer. Can you hear it in the win 10 version? It is an app.

No music in the Win 10 app at all, not even King's own music. Only thing that's audible are sound effects.
Methinks the game's broken beyond repair.
