Why is level 1810 on my PC different from the examples I get doing a search?
I get an immediate colour bomb when I start, and the level fills up with numerous "timed bomb' which make it impossible to complete the level before one "explodes" ending the game. The examples I get have 5 purple candies, mine starts out with about 10. There is something wrong.

There's nothing wrong. The level was amended because it was too difficult to score sufficiently. The bombs were added because they are high scoring items. Most people who have experienced both versions are in agreement that although this adds a few difficulties the level has improved from near impossible to just very hard.
