Candy crush won't load on my ipad

I hit play and it hangs and then takes me back to the icon. It plays on my iPhone ok? Why is this?

Your device has the same processor as the iPad 2 that came out in 2011; soon 6 years ago. Nowadays it´s going to be pretty tough to find a new device running on a 512 MB Ram processor.

Apple discontinued the production of these models iPad and stopped the iOS updates for those devices. Why should you blame a game developer for that @Lynda?

I didn´t read anybody telling anywhere to buy a new iPad.

You can still play their games through PC, on Facebook and King.com, or on Windows 10 if that´s what you run on your PC.

My Sony Android flagship from 2012 can´t play their games no longer either. I got myself a Cubot x16s for 124 $ on eBay, 3gb Ram and Marshmallow, works perfect.

Thanks Eagles, that´s an iPad 2 running on the 512 MB Ram processor that came out in 2011.
