Error message for FB problem

No King Games will load on FB. The error that appears when I open the developer console is:

[Error] Blocked a frame with origin "https://candycrush.king.com" from accessing a frame with origin "https://apps.facebook.com". The frame being accessed set "document.domain" to "facebook.com", but the frame requesting access did not. Both must set "document.domain" to the same value to allow access.

How do I get a King developer to pay attention? This isn't fixable through Flash updates or different browsers or clearing cache or any of the other rote answers. Please actually help.

    Hello Lynnie.

    Thank you for your post.

Could you please confirm that you have followed the steps in our troubleshooting thread:

    https://care.king.com/en/candy-crush-saga/cant-get-your-games-to-load-on-facebook-check-this-out

Please try these first. Could you also confirm if this issue only happens with King games or whilst trying to load any other games on Facebook.

    Kind regards,

    Johnny

Hi, Johnny. Yes, I've tried everything. Flash is up to date, caches are clear. I tried Chrome, Safari, Firefox - same problem. I even tried playing directly on the King.com site and get exactly the same issue/error message as FB. Non-King games work fine. From the error message (quoted above), the problem appears to be that King did not set the document domain properly. Thank you for finally acknowledging this - I hope you can help get it fixed!

    Hello,

Thank you for the further information.

I have checked this out and the error message is not related to our games. The error occurs within the frame where the game should load and not inside the actual game. I recommend checking that your adobe flash player is up to date and also that you have javascript running and up to date and try again to load the game.

    Kind regards,

    Johnny

Johnny - tried reloading Flash, confirming JavaScript, etc. No help. If, as you say, the problem is in the frame itself, who is responsible for fixing it? It's not a browser issue, since I got the same error in different browsers, and it's not a Facebook issue, since the same thing/same error message happens when I try to play on King.com. I know playing these games is not essential to my life, but I'm frustrated not knowing where to direct the request for help.

How lame is it that King thinks my answer solves my own problem? Nobody reads over there.

Hey! Would you like to give us your opinion?
