Do scores have any meaning?

Depends really on how you play the game @Vikies

The scores don't bother me because the game is now too difficult due to the number of moves being removed from the levels. As the levels are now quite difficult I am just glad when I complete a level after playing it for days on end.

For some other players the score is quite important though as some players attempt to gain Sugar Stars on every level they play, or they try to gain first place on the leader board of every level they play.

The scores used to mean something- if you didn't score enough points for 1 star, you failed the level.

Once they decided to make the majority of the levels impossible, that minimum score requirement has gone from the game.
