I look at it a bit differently @spottedhorse. I play because I want to and not due to some pretend race that isn't even a race. If I get a colour bomb or some other reward for my efforts then I am fine with that.
It is the same with the collection events. I will just play my normal game and if I manage to finish in the top ten then that is okay, but I won't be wasting my time playing one level over and over for hours just to win one booster.

It's all a pretend game..I play to move forward at no cost,which means playing to win boosters/ rewards.
