Candy crush saga problems???

For the last couple of days I haven't been able to play on my iPad. It comes up with the orange loading screen and stays there. The one time it did load it said I had no lives when it had been over 12 hours since I last played it. It does load on my iPhone, albeit a bit slow. I'm on level 2325. Please help xx
