Level 1451: there are symbols that look like the blades of a food processor spinning around. They are surrounded by solid white blocks. I'd clear the squares around them only to have the squares return! How do I get rid of these?

To get rid of it you have to hit it five times, it has four screws, which come out one by one. Some levels the magic mixer spawns blockers you will need to fulfil an order, so it MAY not be the best strategy to destroy it too early. But most of the time they are nasty and you would want to get rid of them. Also if you do hit one, such as by matching candies right next to them or using a striped candy they will reset and therefore spawn the blockers less frequently. You can tell they are about to spawn blockers as they start to shake. If you hit them then, they will go quiet again for a few turns.
The Magic Mixer, which looks like a blender with candy ingredients, releases blockers on the squares around it after a certain number of turns. As you continue playing, the Magic Mixer keeps on mixing and producing blockers. Have you noticed any patterns or strategies to deal with the Magic Mixer effectively?

The ones you see are called Magic Mixers, they are blockers capable of generating or replacing objects with blocks. If these blockers are not cleared, the magic mixer will spawn blockers further outside its radius.
To be able to destroy them in this level, you will have to help you with the horizontal striped candy generator you see at the top right and make it hit the magic mixer. It will also be very useful to create a combo between a color bomb and a striped candy, this will help you save a lot of moves.

Since the new update I think today as it looks a bit different, every time I play a level a booster gets taken automatically it checkmarks itself anyone else noticed this?

As soon as I got to this level it gave me an error message 'unable to win level' and kicked me out. I tried again a few times and same message. How do I get past this level? It says level needs yellow candies and no yellow candies show up so I can't even play it.
