Unable to receive anything from Friends in Candy Crush

My friends are unable to send me anything in Candy Crush. I had stopped playing for a few months and came back and now I am told by friends they cannot send to me and I have not received anything since I started up again. Problems with the game is why I stopped before. Any help you be appreciated. This is most likely for Tech Support. Barb

I´m sorry this is happening to you in Candy Crush Saga.

Do you play Candy Crush Saga through Facebook on PC? If so, then please make sure you follow the steps as indicated here; https://care.king.com/en/candy-crush-saga/cant-get-your-games-to-load-on-facebook-check-this-out

I´d also like to recommend you to check your settings on Facebook for Candy Crush Saga and notifications;

On Desktop Facebook, click the down-arrow in Facebook and click settings. Then select 'Notifications' from the menu on the left. Click on "On Facebook" to display the next menu. Next to App requests and activity, click Edit and scroll down to the game you're playing, click to select notifications On or Off.
