Well this morning as usual I get my 20 lives so ive only sent 20 return lives, it works both ways. I have 100 plus lives been asked for but I won't be sending any sorry if it effects any of you guys it's not to get to the players it's the principle of the way we are being treated. Too many changes have been made on this game and I too have lost bonus time due to having no lives along with other things. I have stuck to my guns and not spent a penny since the changes came into force like a lot of the players on here, king must be losing bad time.
Thanks for sharing that information @JHFreshwater it is very interesting. I must be honest as laughable as the response you got was it is still one of the better responses I have seen from King.
This was done to encourage players to use the lives feature the way it's meant to be used, which is exchanging lives with other players on a daily basis rather than accumulating them since when many lives are hoarded, there's also a risk of losing them (being that they're saved on the device's memory, just like Boosters).
This part really makes no sense as the reason for all the complaints is that people can no longer exchange lives on a daily basis. I send lives daily, but due to the change most of them no longer get received. Even if the person hasn't filled their storage capacity my lives still don't get through if the person has received their allocated allowance. Also the introduction of the limits has meant that people share less lives now as some people have stopped sending lives as they no longer receive them. If they really are testing this feature hopefully they will see that instead of encouraging the daily exchange of lives the life limit has the opposite effect. Not only that, but a lot of people are now saying they will spend less on the game and maybe even stop playing.
When we introduce something new, we always thoroughly test it to find the best setup. As such, you may also see different versions of the new mailbox. We are closely monitoring the impact of this change, so it's also possible that the feature will be tweaked again in the future.
It is plain that what they mean by this is that they are trying to find the combination of life limits that maximises the amount of money that people spend on lives. The impact they are most interested in is how much money they lose./make on any given change.
