Friend's levels are displayed 1 instead of real level

Hello @Calvin75 I can't tell you why this happens, but I do know that this issue has been going on since 2019.
As far as I can tell the issue resolves itself, so please try closing and opening your game.
Personally I think it hints at server errors at King, but I couldn't be sure.

I tried to restart the game (disconnect, clear cache...) several times but without success.

Yep @Alienscar, similar issue. In my case, all friends after the first ~150 were listed as being at level 2. The only thing that changed is a month or so ago that number changed to those particular friends all being listed at level 1, same as Calvin and others experience. Out of the ~830 friends on my list, ~680 all happen to be at level 1. riiight 🙄
I raised the matter again when I reached out to complain about the recent glitches in the game and was told "it's being worked on." I wouldn't hold my breath though; as you noted, the issue arose almost soon after the new profile Friends feature was introduced and has never been fixed.

@Alienscar You got it:
All friends with names capital A through De are the only ones who show their actual levels; Dee through lower-case z all display as being on level 1. You're among the lucky few whose actual current level is shown. 😂

I just unistalled, cleared the cache and reinstalled Candy Crush (lost all lives received and boosters) but same problem : more than 50% are at level 1 yet many are better ranked than me

@Calvin75 Never uninstall and reinstall your game if you play on devices; King is at least transparent about that that players will lose all stored lives and boosters.
Did you not see my posts above? Yours is not a unique issue; it's been around since the new Friends feature was introduced, and the error is on King's end, so nothing you do will fix it.
