How to keep levels when transferring candy crush ti new ipad

I bought a new iPad and tried to bring candy crush up at the level I was at. Ihave asked this question before, I did what I read as the answer and now I have lost my level of 940 and the game has started me over on both iPads. There has to be a way to get those levels back. I played through Facebook, please help.
