Stripe candy

I just completed level 686 and the point of the level is to get 20 striped candies so after completing the level "dexter" tells me I only got 7 striped candies for his contest! How does that make any sense? I had a feeling they were weren't adding up properly and this just confirmed it!

Unfortunately I didn't however I just completed level 749 which is to get 20 striped candies which I did and at the end I ended up with 5 striped candies! If there gonna rip people off they should at least change the algorithm to work properly when that's the whole point of the level
