Is it time to quit and break the candy addiction?

Like many others, I opened my app to play this morning, and all events, treats, win streaks are gone, with the exception the piggy bank and the carnival.

I understand the need to update and change functionality, but to remove all of these things at the same time, on a holiday weekend no less, is a slap in your users faces. It seems more and more that King doesn’t care about their users or the user experience, just the amount of $$$ it can squeeze out of us. I’ve been playing since the game came out, and it just gets worse and worse.

Games aren’t fun when levels are nearly impossible to clear unless you buy more moves. Make them hard? Of course, but not impossible. There are some levels set up in such a way that candies are unavailable after the first move, and therefore you lose. Not. Fun.

Please start listening to your users suffer and complaints. Nothing is too big to fail.
