Music plays even when muted

I play Candy Crush on Windows 10 and prefer to listen to other music so have the sounds of the game all muted. It stays muted for a little while and then will start playing the music. If I look at the settings it shows that it is muted, yet I hear it. Really frustrating. Anyone else come across this.

Thanks for the help, but I don't think this will solve my issue. The version of the game doing this is the app through the windows app store. It is not played through a browser or through facebook. It is a standalone app.

Looks like the game was recently updated to a new format.

Try clearing your browser cache and the sound should work correctly again.

Unfortunately this question has nothing to do with the Facebook version. The original post clearly references the Windows 10 version of the program which does not run in a browser. I have also had the same problem. Even uninstalling and doing a clean install does not fix the problem. No matter how many times you toggle the sound and music and set them to off the music starts playing again once you start a level.
