There is something wrong with my rank progress

Hello fellow Candy Crushers!
I am on rank 84 and have been so for a good while. When the progress bar is full, my rank does not progress to 85, but instead stays on 84 and the progress bar resets to 0. Then I continue to gather points by completing levels and the same thing happens again - not a progress to 85, but a reset. Why does this keep happening?

Thank you for the feedback . Have you Checked app update - Log out game - Restart Device - Open game and Log in.

I play on my computer - usually using Google Chrome - and not on an app. I restart my web browser regularly and restart my computer every day. Should I play the game on an app? Is there an app for desktop?

I play on a six year old gaming computer - on a web browser (usually Google Chrome).

I’m having the same problem since a week , I sent a lots of videos to the support assistant but nothing happened
I had to upload the game and the software , then uninstall the game . At the end I ve just lost all my booster in both account ( Facebook and King ) but the problem is still there
the week has started again , I’ve passed few levels but the bars moves from 1 to 0 and come back again to 0

Oh right I don't know anything about playing the game through a browser in fact I thought that option had been removed when they stopped King.com.
Saying that I can't think of anything that would cause the issue you are describing. For your rank to be continuously reset to Rank 84 would for me indicate something beyond what a player can influence.
Have you tried deleting your browser history, cookies and temporary files?
