Used gold coins to pass a level, tood coins but ended game. Lost my gold coins.

I'm on level 2640 on Candy Crush Saga, I was close to completing the level so I used my gold coins to continue. It took my coins but never let me continue playing so I tried again. Same thing. Tried to reboot and the same thing happened. Tried again today and the same thing happened. I easily lost over 100 coins trying to move on. Is there any way to get my coins back? And to make sure this never happens agian? I'm playing from Facebook on my laptop.

Have you tried playing the game on King.com? I've never had any issues after switching so it might work for you as well.

I saw on another thread a step by step instruction on how to transfer your game progress to King.com:

1) Go to King.com and login then click on settings (cog wheel, top right corner of screen)

2) Choose Account

3) Enter your password

4) Click on Synchronizing/ Connect to Facebook

5) Click on the two arrows to initiate the sync

Once done your progress is synchronized and you should now be able to play and progress without any issues.

For the purchased Gold bars I suggest you refund those. Check your Facebook payments and click on the dispute button.
