After 2 or 3 seconds of trying to look for your next move, a combination starts flashing and doesnt stop until you make a move. Is this done as a distraction because it is really irritating

Please I've been playing this game for years but I would like to have an option to stop hints in features accessibility can you make that available for all King games especially Candy crush soda saga please!!
The new version on my windows pc is driving me crazy!! The hints flash every second, are very distracting and extremely irritating! We need an option to turn them OFF!!
I should be able to ask for a hint if needed but what is the point of showing every move?
