level 2732 not enough lives

They won't bother.  It's cynical and it's sapping the fun from the game.  We'd rather get through the levels relatively easily and keep playing every week than have the carpet pulled out from under our feet, but they just don't get it.  If you're not there in the first few days, they try to trap you into buying more stuff.  I, like many others, am just giving up.
