App doesn't want to start

The game stopped working on my Galaxy 6 Edge. It tries to open when I click on the icon but then it closes. The app is up-to-date. I don't want to delete the app and reinstall it because I'm not sure if I was logged in, I don't want to lose my progress.Thank you.
