Why did my Charm of Frozen Time stop working?

I purchased the Charm of Frozen Time and it is no longer an option for timed games in Camdy Crush Saga. It worked up until about a week ago and now it is no longer an option as a booster right before I press "play". I paid $25 for this as a lifetime booster. It should still work.
