Candy crush on Android has lost connection with Facebook, Google Play, etc.
I cannot purchase my piggy bank or even receive new boosters won in the course of playing the game. This started yesterday. I cannot connect to facebook to record my progress.
It's acting like I'm on Airplane mode with no internet connection, but my internet is fine, both on WiFi and off.
One of the blogs says to download the latest version of Candy Crush from Google Play (I have no updates pending). I am afraid to do this - don't want to my progress - I'm at a pretty high level.
Any suggestions?

Can you please check for updated for your Android and for the Candy Crush Saga app?
Restart your device afterwards and please try again.
If you keep experiencing the same afterwards, then please specify make and model of your Android, as well as the Android version you run on your device.

I checked and there are no apps available for either Candy Crush or Android OS. I have restarted the phone several times. I also cleared cache on the Candy Crush app, and performed a hard stop on the app.
