Candy Crush Very SLow

I have a laptop and run Google Chrome. Candy Crush on Facebook is almost unplayable using my Facebook ID. There is a pause between moves which I have timed to be as long as 6 seconds. I also notice that when loading I almost always get a message saying SHockwave Flash has stopped responding. I am on level 709. As a test, I borrowed a friend's ID played Candy Crush with it. He is on level 73. No delays between moves and works well. And no SHockwave Flash messages. Obviously, there is something wrong playing the game at higher levels. The laptop is the same, the OS is the same, the browser is the same. The only difference seems to be the level the player is on. Please note that I played using my ID first and when it failed to work properly, I immediately played using my friend's ID within 30 seconds.
