I've been playing Candy Crush for many years, more than I'd like to admit. And they've always had ads. I stopped playing for several years, and just came back. The ads this time are better because they can give you extra moves and boosters. These really come in handy sometimes when you have 1 candy left to win. For the first time ever, I purchased some time and boosters. Ever since I did that, i no longer get any ads at all! Is this happening to others? I reached out to support and they said they just weren't offering ads right now, which I don't believe. I think it's just a way to keep me stuck on a level and have to make a purchase to get move on.

The problem is when you bought something with real money. You lose the ability to watch ads for anything if you buy something with real money. They do this to try to get you to continue buying with real money for stuff instead of watching ads. To get the ads back you have to wait quite a long time without spending real money.

Unfortunately, you're not alone in this boat. Way too many a player have complained about ads disappearing after making a purchase with real money. And instead of taking responsibility, King reps keep making excuses. As you've seen yourself, Support plain deceive customers.
In my opinion, punishing paying players has the opposite effect - they are more likely to get frustrated and quit rather than keep spending and getting *less value* for their money. Paying players gotta be encouraged to spend more by getting rewarded instead.
