Hello,
I'm just wondering why I've got the final Christmass event in my Candy Crush Saga App but not when I log into my other account which I play through Facebook. Is there a reason why ?
Thanks and Happy Holidays everyone.

Thanks for this great answer - that makes sense to me now. I'm playing the stand alone game via Microsoft App for another account and also have my main game played via Facebook and on my mobile, all though I prefer my big screen connected to my laptop instead of my mobile, as the size of the screen makes it so much easier :D
But at least now I know why I miss a lot of the events which is really sad, as I then doesn't get the same chances to win boosters like if I only played on my app or mobile.
The facebook game doesn't offer the cinema either, so it seem I'm missing a lot of events.
Hello back, Elizabettina! π€©
There certainly is a difference. And I don't mean the fact that they release new levels on the browser version first. On one hand, some events don't work on all devices even though it's the same account being played. On the other hand, not everyone gets the same events. Last but not least, I'm fairly confident that the browser version is bugged. Are there people playing through Facebook's website who get ads for Sweet Cinema and extra moves upon failing?
There's another option to play, btw - a standalone PC programme you could get from Microsoft's app store. I haven't tried it, so can't comment how it feels compared to the mobile version.
I'll stick to the mobile version, as it's more user-friendly. π§
