This was previously over 30 moves with coloured candy at the bottom. Now it has liquorice with numerous layers of icing and only 20 moves. I managed to start by mixing 2 colour bombs and still didn't get close. This is really impossible.

These levels are all ridiculous anymore. They "let" us win once in a while but then go back to b.s. We all need to just delete this friggin game and move on. This is what happens when there are still people paying. We get nothing free for sticking around this long. They don't even show videos of these levels actually being done with the limited amount of moves they put them at and they think this game is enjoyable and stress free. Friggin ridiculous!
I'm getting way behind too. I've never been on a level this long and I don't really see an end to it unless we get more moves.
2 party pinata's 30 or 40 extra moves and all of my other collected boosters and I still missed by several moves. Now with no boosters or gold there seems zero chance of even getting close. I was on a run to get to the end of Candy Crush trail, now not playing any more because of 12811

I noticed that too. Why bother if you aren't going to do something about it? It's beyond nightmarish level.
I had to buy 2 35 extra moves to beat it lol
and all of my boosters
so 90 moves and 2 hammers and one free switch

I've been stuck for a week on this level. Please add more moves!
The level has now gone from nightmare level to a regular level yet nothing has changed. Usually, when this happens more moves are given. Still stuck and frustrated.
I also have been stuck on this level for days now. It got so bad that I have deleted the game from my phone. My iPad had still given me 29 moves and I was one move from finally clearing it.
I came back later in the day and now my iPad also only has 20 moves. The level has literally gone from difficult to impossible. I was paying for boosters for a while, but never again. I can't believe I allowed myself to give them a single dollar.
It's disgusting how they do this. I don't see the logic in making the levels literally impossible for those of us whom have clearly been playing this game for years.
The levels shown also have candies in the lower section, which means you can mix a colour bomb with a packet and clear some of them. This level now just has more layers and liquorice at the bottom. I've been stuck before, however never like this. Impossible without paying for a tonne of boosters.

I think they want to force us to pay for more moves or boosters :(
I did finally look up how to defeat it but like you said, the levels shown have 28 to 30 moves which make a huge difference in it's difficulty.
