episode race disappeared again, said if finished first, could get an extra five gold bars but now, the flag is gone

Every level I play it says race will start the next level. Then I play the next level and it says it will start the next level. Never starts and then the flag disappears. This has been happening for the last week.
I can't find the thread where I commented on the episode race earlier today. I got first place 3-4 times last week and didn't get any gold bars for winning or the extra 5.
I just won another race and this time I got them.
I finished the episodes, no 'race" no 5 bars.

How do I get episode race. My hubby and son both have it. They are on levels between 2000 and 3000. I am over level 5000

Same. The flag is there but the race never starts. The told me to delete the game then reinstall. Now the fla* is gone. It all stopped workin when they added the extra five bars.
