I logged out and back in and it is still 8000.

The milestones system may be shot in the leg and bleeding but it's not dead, contrary to claims that it's discontinued etc. It's obviously still up and running but malfunctioning. They couldn't fix it, so they simply said it's been "disabled" instead.

At this point, I don't see what purpose the feedback discussion/poll serves when community's overwhelming opinion in favour of the system is just being ignored.
