Kinda makes ya wonder if someone from King actually is reading our comments, and it's their way of messing with us lol. @Kerrie Indeed I do. King keeps tinkering with existing features, and we've yet to see the supposed new feature that was to succeed Fantastic Five. So annoying.
Back in Nov 22 when I noticed the change and asked about it and 9 was the highest we'd seen. I jokingly said:
Wonder if we'll see 10?🤔 I hope not.🙏
That's the last time I'll joke about anything.🙄
This same type of thing happened with the limit on lives. @Deryck you probably remember that.

I'm not sure it makes such a difference though. It just depends on what type of records the system picks.

King forced the new Candy Royale with 8 levels to complete on me recently. Only got 27 bars out of it for the episode I finished today.
Meh--wasn't all it's cracked up to be.

@Kerrie Small good news: I posted in another thread yesterday about King finally fixing the scoring mechanism.
I've been very vocal since the glitch occurred about refusing to play new levels until they fixed it, and apparently my words didn't go unheard. The resolution seems to be a recent development as there were brief periods today where the glitch reappeared, but the fix is fairly steady again.
Case in point, I got 44 out of 45 stars for completing the episode I mentioned on p. 1. Still not helpful in reaching a 245-star target though lol
@Deryck mine has been all of the following at one time or another. No waiting, 6, 8, 16 and 24 hours, 2, 3 and 4 days. I won 500 GB and there was no wait time, my other account won 8 GB and had a 4 day wait. That makes no sense to me.🤷 With the change in scoring the star collection is pretty tuff.😞
@Doondie I must've had the right idea because it disappeared from event page where I wanted to start it.🤦 Now I have 3 days to think about it more.
Mine's still at 7 levels to complete, which increased from 5 a while back. (i see your Royale has a different graphic too hmm)
Kinda wish I had 8 for the greater likelihood of winning a bigger piece of the pie. 😋
@Roxyt80 The cooldown period's something King arbitrarily changes at their whim. I think it's their way of tempting players.
I finally played a new episode yesterday after months, and after winning the Candy Royale, there was no cooldown period at all whereas in the past it sometimes did have a 24-hr period or 3-day period in my game.
No doubt King wants me to keep playing new levels to see if I'll bite at their inane new Star Collection event (245 stars in 5 days?? 🤬🤬🤬🤬 that!)

Btw, it's not the level that doesn't work. It's the feature. Some people have 8 levels to complete (or 6, or 9), i.e. it's a different level. It's the same idea though. Thankfully, the past and the present are still interconnected. 👍

The usual cooldown is 4 days. It's possible you were temporarily getting a 15-hour cooldown but it's normally 4 days.
At first, I thought this discussion was about the new Candy Royale graphics, btw. Seems not everyone gets them.
