Have you ever seen ads?
Have you bought any bundle in-game with real money recently?
Keep in mind ads don't work on the browser version, nor on the standalone Windows desktop version.
Also, if you've never seen ads but you use a mobile device, then it's possible your account wasn't selected to have them, as they are still a "test feature".
Last but not least, when you make a purchase, you get blacklisted and lose ads. Someone said they got ads back after 18 months, while someone else said they took a 4-month break and ads were back when he resumed playing.
