Win10 player here who plays on the Win 10 app. I can confirm the 1st half of your post (re. the boosters from milestone levels) works in my game. woohoo! I never have to bother with King's sh🤬🤬🤬y events with lame prizes again.
Can you explain more about how to manipulate the Candy Royale timer? I'm having trouble visualizing where you wrote: "This time you have to go to the screen that appears when you first open the game (the winter season screen that says 10 years of candy crush) the glitch seems to only work when you go here." Does that mean I should X out the game and reopen it after logging out from whatever level I'd opened?

Interestingly, this glitch allows me to see that some players seem to have a different version of the recent "Top Climber" event. In the unlogged-in one, the goal is simply to collect blue candies, but in the one assigned on my account, it's to complete new levels(?) I think. (I wouldn't know as I haven't played new levels lately)
When I re-login, my rank from collecting the blue candies cancels out into a dash:
(^ and true to my word, the terrible new Choco Box will never be touched by me again)

To be fair I did explain that weirdly but I think that all you have to do now is just sign out and then back into your account instead of all of the other stuff don't close the game also along with this, closing the game during the 30 minute wait for the candy Royale to be ready will reset the glitch, meaning you have to do it again
