Every time the 'Add Friends' button appears when I click on it the game freezes requiring a reload which wipes out all of the accumulated 'friends' lives and resetting to the basic five lives.
By the way, how do you get a friend request & how do you send one?
Mine is the same and the steps above did not help. This happens at least once a week for me.

If you have updated the latest version of this game already but it's still not worked, try these steps here 👇😊
1. Open this game
2. Select Profile
3. Select Log Out then Close the app
4. Reopen the app then Log back in to your profile (don't play first) and finally Open the game (can play now).
Also check that you have a stable internet connection or a strong WiFi signal. You might want to see if your Internet Service Provider is experiencing any current issues.
