When I connected to my FB page it used my name and I want to change it

Yes, your name is taken from your Facebook profile, as you've allowed the app access to it. The only way for you to change your name in-game is therefore to change your Facebook name.
There's another option though - if you were to create a King account, you could then choose whatever name you like and change it at any time.
It's best if you create an account through the game app. Start the game and make sure you're logged in via Facebook and you see your progress. Then go back to the landing page (just restart if necessary) and log out. Without closing the game, choose "Sign up with email" and create a King account with an e-mail address. This way your progress should be automatically synced. If it doesn't, do it via King's website (use "desktop view" if using a mobile browser).

If you are saving your game with Facebook, your Facebook profile name and picture will show in the game. If you'd like to change these simply log into your own Facebook account, make the changes and you're good to go! Please note that the changes may take a few hours to be pushed into your game profile.
