I didn't use all the lives from my limit (20 lives), but after a 15 minute break it showed me that I used all the lives.
I played the game and used 14 lives from the limit, 6 more left. When I exited the game, after 15 minutes I started the game again, there were no lives left. Daily counter went to 20/20

What exactly happened - your remaining received lives vanished or the daily counter went to 20/20? π€
Anything else missing? Boosters maybe?
When you took a break, did you leave your device (presumably a phone or tablet) unattended with the game running? When you returned, was the game still running or closed itself/frozen?
