I've used zero lives until this evening and went to add my first 5 lives, but it shows a count down of over 5 hours?
It's not a glitch. They have changed the counter so that it starts at 20/20 and when you use a life, it gets subtracted and the count goes down. Basically, reverse of what it was.

So, we have a new update regarding the lives issue you have been reporting. A couple of days ago they changed the lives by adding a timer, so you can see how long you have until you can use new lives. Additional to that we have changed the way the lives are counted down. Before it counted upwards from 0 to 20 and with the latest update it now counts downwards from 20 to 0. (check the image for reference).
Do you think this is clear enough or was it easier to understand before the new update?

The timer will only appear after the daily limit is reach, which is something you have already got use too.
The timer is only a visual representation that will allow you to know how much time you have to wait to be able to accept lives again.
During the implementation of this feature there was an issue that prevented the normal claiming of lives. The studio already fixed the issue and you should be able to claim lives normally.
What is going on, Candy? First, I won the race for the 25 gold bars, and they were not awarded to me, because the game glitched-how unfair. Now, my friends sent my lives, I claim them, but they do not appear on my account, so I cannot play.

Yes, it's happening to me too. Too many changes in this game. At least these new annoying rules are helping to break my addiction!
I can't collect lifes from my friends either also when watching the movies to get extra moves and 2 spaces ships, I never get 2 like it says I will. This is on level 13473 which needs to be loosened up. Spending days on 1 level is ridiculous
I am playing on my home computer, I have logged out and back in and it will not let me select the lives.
Can King explain why we cannot access extra lives from friends? Firstly you limited us to just 20 extra lives and then today (although I haven't used any of them yet today) I have been blocked from accessing them until after midnight !! This is just unacceptable and if it's been done to make me buy boosters and gold bars to complete levels then I will no longer play!! Don't get me wrong I will buy boosters occasionally jusy don't like being manipulated to do so, sort it out King!!
Problem began today on Windows 10. Cache has been cleared, computer restarted.

Unable to claim lives,then they all disappeared. Also, unable to load try again, when lives are stored, have to log out and back in to keep playing. Only on my laptop, all ok on iphone. Something is probably wrong in programming.

Same here, not been able to collect any Lives at all today. What's with the timer, I have never come close to exceeding the number of lives you are allowed in a day. Please sort it out Candy Crush Saga.

in my weekly contest it is not recording my progress. It says I have only won 5 levels this week and I’ve actually won like 7 episodes. I have played at least 150 levels this week. I am Nikki #8 on the list
