I've used zero lives until this evening and went to add my first 5 lives, but it shows a count down of over 5 hours?
It's not a glitch. They have changed the counter so that it starts at 20/20 and when you use a life, it gets subtracted and the count goes down. Basically, reverse of what it was.

So, we have a new update regarding the lives issue you have been reporting. A couple of days ago they changed the lives by adding a timer, so you can see how long you have until you can use new lives. Additional to that we have changed the way the lives are counted down. Before it counted upwards from 0 to 20 and with the latest update it now counts downwards from 20 to 0. (check the image for reference).
Do you think this is clear enough or was it easier to understand before the new update?

The timer will only appear after the daily limit is reach, which is something you have already got use too.
The timer is only a visual representation that will allow you to know how much time you have to wait to be able to accept lives again.
During the implementation of this feature there was an issue that prevented the normal claiming of lives. The studio already fixed the issue and you should be able to claim lives normally.
Now my events have disappeared. I could not collect on anything for two days the last time that happened too.
Just logged in again to see if the problem is fixed. Its been two days. All my lives that I could not collect disappeared. Bummer. I requested lives but have not received any back yet, so I am not sure if my problem is fixed yet.
My extra lives usually renew at 12 o'clock

Sorry it didn't work for you, just thought I would share encase it was helpful for someone. Fingers crossed it is sorted out soon because this may be the final straw for some as I know I've had enough too.
I also have 200 from friends, used 2 and it says I used 19. The way they are changing everything, I might just have to quit. Getting frustrating not fun like it used to be.
I tried your suggestion, and it didn't work for me. My timer is gone, but it says that I have used all 20 lives when I haven't even used one.
Hi @Glen_Robins , I was in the same situation too, not able to play for two days and there was still a timer when I logged in today even though I've not used my 20 lives since Sunday. But, then I thought I might as well use my standard 5 lives, and after I used a few I went back to check the envelope and the timer had disappeared and I was able to use my 20 lives again. I don't know if this will work for you. But could be worth a try.

QueenB posted yesterday that this was now fixed, but no I still can't claim extra lives I have been sent for 2 days now :(
I am and so are many others, when the timer appeared yesterday I couldn't claim any extra lives until midnight even though I hadn't used any that day, logged in today and timer says I can't have any lives until after midnight tonight, that's 2 days I haven't been able to claim extra lived from my friends, absolutely fed up with the whole thing now, these game developers are useless. QuennB promised this was fixed yesterday but No it's still not working, time to find a new game to play !!
Hi QueenB, not in my case, my timer said yesterday I could claim lives at midnight, haven't played yet today (not even used my 5 lives) and my timer says 4 hours & 17 minutes to go (midnight) thats 2 days I can't access my lives sent by friends. This is completely ridiculous and a very poor show from King !!
I have not been able to collect my lives from friends for two days now. Yesterday 3-13, it say 4 hours on the timer which would have been midnight so I didn't get to use them. It's 3:37 pm now 3-14 and it says 8 hours to claim 8 lives which will put it at midnight again. I can't play at midnight.
I am sure there is a timer now which is absolutely ridiculous ! Bad enough you can only use 20 a day but now to limit it more? But that still does not tell me why when I fail the quest the button will not work on the PC and I have to refresh the page. Considering all the issues with this game maybe you should start doing more giving and not worry about people paying to play!!

I'm having the same issue. On my computer, but not phone, a clock counting down which I never had before. Please fix this!!

I got the booster wheel spin jackpot today, and it looks like it's supposed to include everything that shows on the wheel. However, there was no 15 min unlimited UFO blaster (it showed it in the graphic showing you won the jackpot, but it was not in my boosters). Is this a known issue or just a one off glitch?
