Level progress reset to 1 after connecting to Facebook

I was playing Candy Crush Saga for several years on my old iPhone. I reached level ~2720 (don't remember the exact level) and wanted to transfer my progress to my new iPhone. In the internet it was suggested to connect to Facebook to synchronize my progress. After connecting to Facebook ALL my progress was gone

Please help me!

I don't now what to do. I also tried to disconnect from Facebook again but I am still at level 1.

The Blog includes lots of steps on how to fix this problem yourself :-)
