Question

There was no way to complete it because it kept saying that I needed one more piece of chocolate cleared, and there were no more pieces of chocolate! This screenshot shows I still have eight moves left but as you see, there is no chocolate, so I ended up being told that I lost this level after I had finished my moves. Super annoying. I don’t want to play again and have the same bug replicated, so I want to make sure this is working!

Hello @notpcinsf probably not a bug I would say. You should have seen a message at the start of the level similar to the one shown below. When you see this message you can't destroy all the available chocolate at once as you need some left on the board to create more chocolate

It's bad design, yes - display time is waaay too short. 😒

That's why you should actually count how many chocolate bars you have on the board before starting the level as to decide whether it's safe to destroy the remaining ones or let them replicate in order to complete the objective. You'll get the hang of it, don't worry. 👍

There are a few other levels like this one up ahead. At some point there will be chocolate producers, so it won't matter whether you wipe all chocolate bars too quickly, as new ones could be created. You just gotta factor how long it will take you to get as many as you need, since they don't replicate right after you break one. There's also a dark chocolate type of chocolate bars but you'll discover it later on.

Just some head-up about levels where you gotta collect cherries (or dragon hatchlings) - avoid starting off with multiple explosions. Better do a regular first move (with no special candy combos) as to avoid last cherry not dropping. 👌
